¡Vamos de Vacaciones!
The class has won an all-expense paid trip to anywhere in the Spanish Speaking world you would like to go. Now, we just need to decide where to go. You will choose a city or region in a Spanish speaking country and write a one-page paper explaining why you think the class should go there. We will be traveling during the first part of June. It can be any city and more than one person can choose the same city, but you must work alone.
Your paper must include but is not limited to:
q Five places of interest in or near the city. For example, for Mexico City, you can include Tenochtitlan, which is an hour northeast of the city. You must describe what can be seen or done at each place. At least one of those places needs to have some sort of educational value.
q Describe what the weather is generally like during the first week of June.
q Explain what must be taken along (at least four items.)
This paper should be approximately one page long single-spaced or two pages double-spaced. Two different sources must be cited with the name of the article, author’s name, copyright date (if given) and pages cited. If a web site were used, you must include the web address. Only one source can be a web address. We will have a day and a half to work on this report in class; otherwise you must complete it on your own. It must be turned in by the end of the day Friday, January 27.
La clase ha ganado un viaje gratis a cualquier lugar del mundo hispanohablante a que quisiera ir. Solamente necesitamos decidir adonde queremos ir. Escogerá una ciudad o una region de un pais hispanohablante y escribirá un reporte de una página explicando por que debemos ir allí. Viajamos durante la primera semana de junio. Puede ser cualquier ciudad y más que una persona puede escoger la misma ciudad, pero hay que trabajar solo.
Tu reporte necesita incluir:
q Cinco lugares de interes dentro de o cerca de la ciudad. Por ejemplo, para la ciudad de México, se puede incluir Tenochtitlan que es una hora al noreste de la ciudad. Hay que describir lo que se puede ver o hacer en cada lugar. Al menos que uno de los lugares necesita tener un valor educativo.
q Describe la clima durante la primera semana de junio.
q Explique al menos que cuatro cosa que hay que traer.
Este reporte debe ser una página de un espacio o dos de doble espacio. Hay que citar dos articulos diferentes con el nombre del articulo, nombre de escritor, la fecha y las páginas mencionados. Solamente un articulo puede ser del internet. Si usas el internet, hay que dar la dirección de la página. Solo tenemos un dia y medio para trabajar en este reporte durante clase por eso hay que terminarlo en casa. Hay que entregarlo por el fin del día, viernes el 27 de enero.
