Rocket Engines

There are two main types of engines used by aircraft around the world, the gas turbine engine and the turbofan engine.The gas turbine engine is basically the standard jet engine you see on small to medium sized aircraft and the M-1 tank also uses it. Turbofan engines are the big engines on 747 passenger jets and other latge. Rocket engines that help us get into space use two different types of engines also, they are the solid and liquid fueled rocket engines. The engines are mostly the same, but they are configured differently to use solid fuel, or liquid fuel.
